Boardroom #5 Results

The crowd was larger than ever as fans anxiously awaited the fifth and final boardroom to commence. The challenge, presented by Canadian Tire Financial Services, asked teams develop a Canadian Tire Options MasterCard marketing strategy to obtain new active accounts within the defined 25 to 34 year old demographic.

After an intense game of rock-paper-scissors, it was determined that Galaxy Corp. would be up to present first. Galaxy’s “Feel At Home Sooner” campaign rested on three strong platforms: “Visibility, Drive Relevance, and Engage”.

Omnia Inc. was up next to present their campaign, “Options. For days like today”. Their strategy involved three main ideas: “Attract Today. Acquire Today. Retain Today.” and used innovative techniques to reach consumers, such as developing CTFS applications for the iPhone and the BlackBerry.

After an intense deliberation by the judges, it was announced that the winner of season six MARS Apprentice is Omnia Inc! In upcoming weeks, all team members from Omnia Inc., as well as wildcards Amanda White, Michael Thibodeau and Daniel Gotlib from Galaxy Corp. will have the opportunity to obtain one of six internship positions, offered by each of the boardroom sponsors.
